The medical centers providing these services in New Delhi are collectively known as the GCC Approved Medical Centers Association or GAMCA, Delhi. It was organized in compliance with the GCC requirement that medical certificates issued by the GAMCA member centers only, will be honored by its embassies in the processing of employment papers.

There are five medical centers all members of GAMCA, Delhi whose examination results are the only ones, honored by the respective embassies, health ministries of the GCC member countries.

Objectives

GAMCA, Delhi has aligned its main objective with the Expatriate Workers Check-up Project - the most important programme of Executive Board of the Health Ministers' Council for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States to ensure,

• That the specified medical, radiological and laboratory investigations are conducted at approved medical centers only.
• That the medical tests performed, are uniform and exact adhering to GCC guidelines.
• The non arrival of any disease that may spread in some of the countries due to unscrupulous medical test at unspecified medical centers etc.
• Directly or indirectly, good Public Health of the member countries.
• The equal distribution of business among all the approved medical centers in Delhi.
